Yonaguni Island Dr. Koto Clinic (location tour)

Making traditional kuba folk tools on Yonaguni Island was a very interesting and valuable experience. The tour was well balanced with sightseeing excursions, making it a fulfilling and wonderful day.

I really enjoyed the experience of making traditional folk tools using kuba leaves! The rest of the island sightseeing was also very scenic, and I fell in love with Yonaguni Island in just one day!

We started our excursion in the rain, but our spirits were lifted by our guide's words, "Yonaguni in the rain is good, too! We were able to absorb plenty of negative ions from the birdsong and rain-drenched plants, and also enjoyed the scenic view that is exclusive to the local people. He gave us detailed explanations at every place we visited, and his soft-spoken manner soothed us even more than the scenery. At the westernmost monument, the rain and strong winds left the umbrella we had borrowed from the hotel in tatters, and the crosswind nearly knocked us over. My friend told me, "Blow off your daily worries!" I was literally blown away. I wondered as I got drenched in the rain if it was possible to have such fun, and I was impressed that this was the fun of Yonaguni in the rain. The guides did their best to entertain us and made the trip more enjoyable than I had imagined. Thank you very much.

I joined this tour with my husband. We were very grateful to have been guided to all the places we wanted to visit, including the westernmost sunset and the location of a TV drama. It was a wonderful and memorable trip.

We were able to visit the sights of the island efficiently. It was definitely more enjoyable with a professional commentary than going around in a rental car by ourselves. We also appreciated the fact that transportation was included.
