Yonaguni Island Dr. Koto Clinic (location tour)

To be honest, I was not interested in visiting filming locations, but after hearing about the local history and culture, my perspective quickly changed. By the end of the tour, I was completely absorbed.

It was a pleasure to step on the westernmost tip of Japan after a long time. The view from Azuma-zaki was particularly breathtaking, a completely different impression from what I had seen in photographs. The dialect of the local people was also interesting, and it was a culture shock in a good way.

It was a little disappointing that rain started to fall halfway through the tour. But thanks to the resourcefulness of the guide, we were able to properly enjoy the tour. It would have been great if it had been a little sunnier.

It was the right choice for a post-retirement destination. We were able to visit the sights in a relaxed and comfortable schedule and experience both the beauty of nature and the depth of culture. I also appreciated the photo service.

There are many photogenic spots and I was able to take many pictures for social networking sites. It might be perfect for a girls' trip. The color of the ocean was just so beautiful that I wanted to keep looking at it.

I thought 3 hours might not be enough time for the size of the island, but it was surprisingly satisfying with a good balance of sights built in. I did feel a little pressed for time, but that was covered by the guide.
