Enjoy Yonaguni Island by visiting popular spots!

What is Nishizaki?
Located at the westernmost tip of Yonaguni Island, it is a cape with an observatory.
It is known as the place where the sun sets the latest in Japan.
There is an unobstructed view to the west and the view is outstanding.
On a clear day, Taiwan can be seen, and the scenery of being closer to Taiwan than to mainland Japan gives one a special feeling of closeness.
April, especially in early spring, is considered a time of clear air and good visibility.
How to play Nishizaki
The most enjoyable part is the beautiful scenery.
Visit in the evening to enjoy a wonderful sunset as the sun sets over the horizon, which is extremely beautiful.
Such a beautiful sunset is hard to find anywhere else.
The observatory also offers a spectacular view of the sea, of course, but also of Kubura Port and Mt.
The observatory is home to Japan's westernmost monument, and it is a moving experience to actually see the stone monument that you have seen in geography and history textbooks.
