(2) South Ranch

Minami Ranch, made famous by the TV drama "Dr. Koto Clinic," is located in the southern part of Yonaguni Island.
Passing through the Texas Gate (a ditch-like structure), you will find a vast ranching area where horses graze. The horses roam freely, so please exercise caution and enjoy your visit safely.

(iii) Ayamiha Bldg.

The Ayamihabirukan is a sightseeing spot where you can learn about the ecology of the world's largest moth, the Yonaguni Sun, which lives in the Yaeyama Islands.
Inside the museum, you can learn about the relationship between the Yonaguni San and life on the island, as well as other Yonaguni creatures. You will be amazed at the size of the adult specimens!

(4)-4 riverside beach

Higawa Beach is located in the southern part of Yonaguni Island and is a beautiful beach facing Higawa village, the smallest village on the island.
The beach stretches out in the shape of a crescent moon, and the surroundings are tropical, quiet, and peaceful. The shallow waters make it a popular spot for swimming and snorkeling, but care should be taken because of the fast currents.

(5) Standing God Rock

Tategami Iwa, a vertical rock towering over the southeastern coast of Yonaguni Island, is a symbol of the island.
Legend has it that a young man who went to retrieve the eggs of a seabird climbed a rock and was unable to climb down, prayed to God, fell asleep, and when he awoke, he was safely back on earth.

The best place to take pictures is the Tategami Iwa Observatory. This observatory is located about 400 m northeast of Tategami Rock and offers a beautiful view.
