What is Mt.

It is a 231-meter-high mountain located in the center of Yonaguni Island.

It is the highest peak on Yonaguni Island and is also called "Yonaguni Fuji" for its beautiful triangular pyramid shape.

A paved road leads to near the top, and a steel tower is erected at the top.

From the top of the mountain, a panoramic view of Yonaguni Airport and the village of Sonai can be seen.

How to play Mt. Urabu

There are parking spaces for two cars near the summit.

The summit commands a panoramic view of Yonaguni Island, and if the weather is fine, Taiwan can also be seen.

The area around Mt. Urabu is home to the "Yonagunisan Habitat," designated as a natural monument by Okinawa Prefecture, and is also known as a habitat for a colony of Japanese white oak and the world's largest moth, called "Yonagunisan (Ayamihabiru).
